Sondia Fontenot
Clinical Case Manager

Sondia Fontenot received her Bachelor’s Degree in Individualized Studies in Business Management from Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA, in May 2006. In July 2010, she received her Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona. In May 2018, Sondia graduated with a Master of Social Work at Edinboro University in Edinboro, Pennsylvania.  Sondia served in the United States Army on active duty for 13 years with an honorable discharge and earned a Combat Overseas Achievement Badge.  She has various experiences in the social services and mental health fields including working with mental and behavioral health hospitals, privately-owned counseling agencies, and government Installations-both in the United States and overseas, helping the military community and their families.

Sondia has a heart of compassion for all people and the community she serves, and she comes with a diverse social services background.  She is experienced as a Certified Small and Large Group Instructor, Suicide Program Manager (ASIST), Mental Health Professional, Risk Reduction Program Manager, Gold Badge US Army Recruiter, Certified Alcohol and Drug Control Officer, Drug Testing Coordinator (Certified), CPR Trained, Peer Support Supervisor, HIPAA, and a Mandated Reporter.  Sondia has been a member in good standing with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) since July 2012. She is a proud Life-Time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). She has been a faithful member of the National Society of Leadership and Success since 2016.  Also, she has been a committed member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social Workers since May 2018.  Sondia joined the JLAP family in May 2023 as the JLAP Clinical Case Manager.
