Registration Fee, Cancellations and Refunds

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
The room rates at The Grand Hotel for single/double occupancy are:
- $226 ~ Resort View
- $244 ~ Bay View
- $236 ~ Spa Bldg. Resort
- $248 ~ Spa Bldg. Bay View
(not including 7% tax, 15% resort fee per room per night occupied)
The above rate will be honored only from Dec. 4, 2023 (arrival date) to Dec. 12, 2023 (departure date). Members are urged to register early and submit reservation request early, as there are only a limited number of rooms available at the discounted rates listed above.
Cut-off date for reservations is Nov. 8, 2023. Reservation requests received after this date are subject to guest room availability. Prevailing rates will apply. The LSBA room block is reserved for seminar attendees only and you must be registered for the seminar.
The resort fee includes internet access; self-parking; bottled water on arrival; daily history celebration (3:45-4:45 p.m.); afternoon tea & cookies at 4:00 p.m.; daily shuttles to Fairhope; kayaks and sail boats; tennis court use; mutliple yard games and board games; turndown service upon request; property tours including Point Clear Cemetary; fishing poles & bait; and event food for resident ducks!
Check in is 4:00 p.m. and check out time is 11:00 a.m. If arriving early, sleeping rooms may not be available. Luggage may be stored with the hotel’s guest services staff. There may be a late charge for check-out after 11:00 a.m.
A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold individual’s reservation. AMEX, VISA, MC or Discover are accepted. Should a guest cancel a reservation, the deposit will be refunded if notice is received at least five (5) working days prior to arrival, and a cancellation number is obtained.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS (LSBA)
Cancellation of registration must be received in writing by the LSBA no later than Friday, Nov. 17. Cancellations will receive a full refund, less a $30 administrative charge. Absolutely no refunds will be made after Friday, Nov. 17.
